Found in the a small Mid West town where MCM items are coveted and collected.
Is this a footstool, sculpture, loyal friend...yes to all! This rarely seen and highly sought after Mario Lopez Torres wicker pig sculpture. Wicker woven over iron frame, copper eyes and iron tail. Signed and dated on a brass medallion found on the underside chest of the pig: Mario Lopez Torres, Tzumindi, Hecho en Mexico, 1974. In excellent original condition, no breaks, rattan has nice color and shiny finish.
